The visit to the Uffizi in Florence was straightforward, and everything went smoothly. However, visitors are only allowed to bring in bottles of up to 0.5 liters and must go through a security check. The audio guide worked perfectly, though the numbers in the guide didn’t match those in the museum, which sometimes made it difficult to find the right recording for a specific painting or room. The museum itself and the works on display were beautiful and fascinating. I spent about two hours in the museum.

It was really simple and clearly explained. It’s well organized. However, the audio guide doesn’t work on the ground floor. That caused a bit of confusion. But in the end, it worked very well. Incredibly impressive works of art. So many things to take in. Well worth seeing.

A chance to get in quickly without a long wait in a line. Note: it was very confusing to (1) print "tickets" on-line, (2) go to an office to get tickets, (3) wait for someone to get the tickets and bring them to the office, and (4) go back to the line to show the tickets and enter.

The Duomo was incredible and we were able to see it because of Headout having the Brunelleschi pass available on late notice for a very reasonable price when most everywhere else was sold out. Our guide was punctual and everything went smoothly as expected.

The tickets were just what we wanted. We got to climb to the top of the duomo and see some magnificent views of the city. It really is a trek and it's hot in there! Be cautious if you're not able to do that many stairs. The only thing I'll say is that the audio guide that came with it was lame... The worst audio guide I've ever had. 1-2 minutes of summary info for large spaces. Nothing special or interesting. It was not a value add. Also, I will note that the actual price of this ticket if you buy it direct is about a quarter of the price so you may try to buy it direct, in advance if you can. If not, then this is the next best option to secure your spot.

We had a problem following Headout's instructions which told us to go to a "meeting point" by the ticket office. With our other Headout trip we did meet a person who gave us a voucher. But here we needed to go into the ticket office and they gave us tickets. We wasted time and edgier going up and down looking for a representatives. Once we had our tickets we went into the Accademia straight away in our time slot. The museum is full of art treasures, but smaller than the Uffizzi and we spent an hour and a half there.

Using my own earbuds and the downloaded narrative was very good and superior to live guide audio. However, the narrative was difficult to follow because it did not relate to the numbers on the paintings or statues that were associated with the audio guide purchased at The Academy and required searching rooms to find the art discussed. There is a floor plan on the app. It would have been helpful to have something to identify which room the art being discussed was in.

The Headout booking was well organised from booking online tickets, to downloading the audio tour, to entry to the Gallery. The audio tour was very informative but it took me awhile to match the artworks to the commentary. All good after that. The Uffizi Gallery itself is beautiful and at times majestic. Of course the artworks are iconic, especially Botticelli's Venus. I'm pleased i went to the Uffizi and can now tick off one of my bucket list items.
