The zoo was fantastic, it is spread in a huge area, each animals have a big and nice space to live. My 4 years old sun loved to run around and watch the animals especially the seals. Buying the ticket online maybe saved 10 min standing in queue, but it took more than 20 min to confirm the ticket, good that we were stuck in the traffic, so we got a valid ticket when we arrived. It was a weekday, but still the bus could hardly move, so we took off 3 stops before the zoo and walked. The QR code for the adult tickets were easy to show, but the child ticket was in a pdf attachment, good that someone was helping at the gateGareth

Prague zoo is definitely worth the effort, need to plan a full day to get around it all. Lovely selection of animals to see Zoo is very well maintained, we will return here in summer Thanks
Founded in 1931 and throughout its more than 80-year history, the Prague Zoo has grown to rank among the most prestigious zoos in the world. Right behind Prague Castle, it is currently the most popular tourist destination in the Czech Republic. In the Prague Zoo, 5,049 animals of 676 species are housed. The zoo's Elephant Valley, which is home to a large herd of Asian elephants, is its pride and joy. It's also fascinating to visit the Giant Salamander House to observe the largest amphibians in the world, the critically endangered Chinese Giant Salamanders. The other pavilions in the zoo include the Gorilla Pavilion, African House, the Pavilion of Penguins, and many more exciting ones. Don't miss your chance to help an endangered species and get their autograph through a special touch panel.
