Zoos in San Diego

We were visiting from Ohio and toured the ship with our neices and nephew in grades K, 3, & 6 who live in Carlsbad. It was wonderful to see them engaging in the exhibits and being excited about the scavenger hunt activity provided. Thay especially loved climbing inside some of the planes and flipping switches in the control rooms. Our group of seven utilized the audio headsets to varying degrees, which was an ideal way to receive as much history and information as each participant wanted. We loved that it was self-paced and that there were an abundance of opportunities to talk with actual retired servicemen who were knowledgeable about the ship. Great opportunity to learn about military history in an impactful way!

was an amazing experience! The staff was very friendly, and I was impressed with the ship and all the details I learned about the history of the USS Midway. The aircraft displays are awesome. I would highly recommend this experience for all ages!

I loved the experience, everything was very clean and organized. I wanted to see the pandas, but I only saw one, which was a little sad, but making an appointment to see it saved me from having to wait in line.

It was a great experience because I loved all the animals I saw, the fast entrances and all the kind workers we spoke too.

Great deal on hideout! Zoo and Safari are both fully staffed with helpful information from the staff. My son and I were very impressed on how well maintained the grounds are especially surrounded by beautiful views and foliage. The animals looked healthy and content in their surroundings.
