The guide was very informative and the cathedral is very nice. Personally it's more beautiful from outside the inside. We chose the 9:30 tour but be aware the church opens at 10am and we still had to wait on the line. So, we started lining up 9:30 and entered the church around 11:00. So, not sure what the skip the line feature is. Otherwise, it was a nice experience and the painting on the domo is really impressive

Guide was friendly and knowledgeable. Tour ended up being an hour and a half. Not upset since we got good value for our money but it did not make much sense that a 30 minute express tour was advertised for 9:30am when they don't even let people into the cathedral until 10:15.

We had skipped the line tickets but still had to wait outside for 30 to 40 minutes to get access into the cathedral. The representatives of the tour company on site should have managed our expectations as there was a Mass being held in the cathedral which delayed our access for the tour. Our guide gave a long history and overview of the cathedral while we were waiting outside at the side of the cathedral. Once we got around to the front, she spoke briefly about the general design of the cathedral but did not highlight any of the significance of the statues and detail on the front of the church. Inside the church she talked about some of the details at the back of the church and then brought us up to the front and spoke about the Dome but there were several other features and items inside the church that she did not speak about. There were also numerous key events that occurred in and around the church but she did not mention.

The tour of the Duomo itself was fabuolous, however when we arrived at the meeting place, we were greeted by a HeadOut representative, given our audio set and told to go 'over there' in a crowd of millions to meet our guide. Not a pleasant beginning.

Information from the guide was interesting but we thought our tickets got us in at 12:00pm but we spent 75min in line just to get inside.
