The museum is exceptionally well designed and thoughtfully organized. The exhibition is very well documented, with an impressive collection of photographs, videos, and historical materials that provide a deep understanding of the events and the lives of the people connected to this place. Our guide, a friendly and charismatic Kraków local, was outstanding. He explained the history clearly, passionately, and with great knowledge, making the entire experience both informative and deeply moving. His engaging way of telling the stories kept everyone interested throughout the tour. The tour started exactly on time and was very well organized. Upon arrival, everything was ready, and our names had already been registered, making the check-in process quick and seamless. We highly recommend this guided tour to anyone visiting Kraków. It is an unforgettable experience that offers a meaningful insight into an important chapter of history.

Good afternoon, I am a tourist from Romania who visited the Schindler Factory on June 30, 2026, together with my son. We entered at 12:20 p.m. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the staff of this museum, and especially to the guide who accompanied us throughout the entire tour and introduced himself as Thomas. He has a remarkable talent for explaining the exhibits and keeping visitors engaged in everything they see and hear. He shared a wealth of fascinating information and insights that we had not found anywhere else, presenting them with great respect and a profound understanding of the history of that period. Both my son and I were deeply impressed by this visit, but above all by Thomas's professionalism, knowledge, and dedication. We are truly grateful that we had the good fortune to be guided by someone as exceptional as Thomas. Thank you for making our visit such a memorable experience.

Guiden var extremt kunnig och gick igenom många historier om hur invasionen i polen började. Mycket intressant information om Oskar Schindler och hans fru som lyckades rädda ca 1000 judar under andra världskriget. Guiden berättade även om hans personliga relationer till andra världskriget vilket var väldigt intressant och gav lite andra perspektiv. Turen avslutades med att man fick se bilder på de människor vars liv räddades på grund av Schindlers insats, och vi fick även veta att en av överlevarna fortfarande bir kvar i Krakow och besökte museet för bara några veckor sedan. Rekommenderar verkligen andra att ta en guidad tur. En förvarning är att det inte ser ut som ett typiskt museum, maskinerna och fabriken finns inte kvar på det sätt som det användes under kriget men det finns mycket andra intressanta saker och historier som är värda att se.

Booking was easy and information with a picture of the meeting point was fine. 👍 The experience at the museum was not what I expected. On the tour we heard only little about Schindler himself and how he saved all these people. What exactly did he do, what made him change from full blown nazi to helping jews? How did he manage to manipulate the Germans? Why did it save people by moving the factory to another country? And so on. Facts and more in depth information as if we had not seen the movie (comparisons etc being completely fine, of course). If you want to know more about life in general during the war, this museum is worth visiting. If you want to know and understand more about Schindler himself and what made him so extraordinary (apart from someone making a movie about him), I would seek knowledge in other places.

Die Museumsführerin "Monika" war sehr gut zu verstehen und hat uns sehr ausführlich informiert. Sie ist auf alle Fragen eingegangen und hat sich sehr viel Zeit gelassen. Die Tour sollte 1,5h dauern und haben aber 2 h benötigt und das war echt toll. Kein Streß. Die Führung war einfach super! Beim Museum selber müssen wir leider beanstanden, dass alle schriftlichen Erklärungen nur in Polnisch oder Englisch vorhanden waren. Das war für meinen Vater, der nur Deutsch kann hinderlich.

Da guia, foi espetacular. Ja o museu não presta, está tudo espremido da área administrativa, baseia-se em fotos, quando ja devia ter bonecos como em londres. Seria mais real e bonito. Excursões muito grandes, nem todos viam as fotos que a guia estava a explicar, e muitas Excursões seguidas, as pessoas empurravam-se. As empresas de tours só pensam no lucro facil. La experiencia nos ha gustado y la hemos valorado bastante bien. El sitio es un museo,pero la guía explicaba todo con mucha claridad e interés. Va ofreciendo mucha información sobre la historia judía y el propio museo. Es decir,no sólo explica el museo sino más allá. Se notaba que tenía bastante conocimiento. Íbamos con una niña de once años y estuvo bastante atenta y pendiente. Lo único que mejoraría sería el encuentro inicial,pues aunque te ofrecen un mapa donde establecen el punto de encuentro el guía no tiene ningún objeto identificativo, un paragüas o algo así que permita localizar con seguridad y evitar tener que estar preguntando y dudando sobre el lugar y la persona.

The guide was very informative sharing an extensive military history of Poland and his family involvement. The museum is less about Schlinder and more about Nazi occupation which is very misleading. Getting into the museum was farcical- despite buying tickets for a tour we still needed physical ID (anything online would not do) and therefore they disallowed us entry unless we bought another ticket that didn't require ID. Absolutely disgusting policy! Also because the museum is cramped as part of a group tour you had to make sure you were always near the guide to hear all narration. The guide saved the day but the entrance to the museum is a rip off nonsense system!

What to bring

Bring along comfortable walking shoes as the route has around 800 stairs.

What's not allowed

Keep in mind electric torches and cigarettes are not allowed on this experience. Pack wisely!

Due to venue restrictions, pets cannot tag along for this experience.

Accessibility

This experience is not accessible by wheelchair. Some of the underground paths on the Tourist Route have been modified to accommodate individuals with limited mobility.

Your guide dogs are welcome at the venue.

Additional information

Facilities: restroom and lockers.

The temperature underground tends to reach 17–18°C. Dress in layers for adaptable comfort.

In exceptional cases, some of the chambers of the Tourist Route might be excluded from the guided tour.

Telecommunication signals will not reach you in the mine. However, a designated place is available to use free WiFi and make phone calls.
