Our guide was amazing. (I think her name was Martzi?). She was incredibly knowledgeable and really took the time to explain so much of the history and significance of everything we saw. She also was lots of fun and really included everyone in the tour. The Dome climb was such a great experience- especially doing it early in the morning. The view was spectacular! The Basilica was incredible. Would have liked a little more time in the Sistine Chapel but unfortunately it was quite crowded by the time our group arrived. Other than that, it was definitely a really worthwhile tour.

Our guide was very knowledgeable of the various parts of the Vatican and items in the Vatican museum. She was also very good with dealing with other guides and people not following the process or posted requirements. Marcia was our guide and very good. The only recommendation for future tours is to provide details on how much walking is required for the length of the tours and options for resting and elevators

Our tour guide was Raf bd was amazing. We had time to see all the different areas include the climb of the dome. I'm glad we chose and early tour to avoid some of the congestion and crowds to get through security.

Our guide was very knowledgeable. It was a very early start but well worth it to see St. Peter's Square in the early morning light. Our tour included a walk to the top of the Dome, with stunning views over the square and Rome. A long climb but worth it.

What to bring

Wear comfortable shoes as the experience requires a fair amount of walking.

What's not allowed

Strict dress code: knees, shoulders, and back must be covered for all guests.

Inside the Sistine Chapel, it's all about the quiet vibes. No chatting, no phones, and no photos, just pure admiration.

Luggage and/or large bags are not allowed inside the venue. You may drop off your bags with the free cloakroom service.

Pets and other small animals are not allowed in the venue.

This experience is wheelchair and pram/stroller accessible.

The Vatican Museums offer free wheelchair hire and free entry for visitors with mobility impairments (certified invalidity exceeding 74%) and a companion if required. Click here for the accessible route.

The entrance to the Museums is timed. Be sure to select your activity starting time when booking. Once inside the Museums, you will be free to explore at your own pace.

Although not included in these tickets, access to St. Peter's Basilica is free but there could be a waiting line during peak season.

Please be aware that during the Jubilee Year, certain areas of the Vatican Museums may be inaccessible due to religious ceremonies. Additionally, entrance to St. Peter's Basilica may also experience unannounced closures. These circumstances are beyond our control. Thank you for your understanding.
