We had an absolutely fantastic guided tour of the Colosseum, Palatine Hill, and the Roman Forum! It was truly an unforgettable experience. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about the history of Ancient Rome. They brought everything to life and made the tour interesting and enjoyable from beginning to end. Walking through the Colosseum and imagining what life was like thousands of years ago was amazing. Palatine Hill was beautiful, with incredible views, and the Roman Forum was simply fascinating. Having a guide to explain the history and stories behind everything made such a big difference. We learned so much and thoroughly enjoyed every moment. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Rome. A wonderful experience and definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Italy! Thank you for making our visit to Rome so special!

We got into the Vatican so quickly and completely bypassed all lines which were veryyyyy long. Our guide got us in so fast and we even got to do the garden tour. I love that we got to split up our tickets for the coliseum and palatine hill because we were pretty beat after a long day at the Vatican. Loved the flexibility and ease of use for tickets. Will be using them again in the future!

Inizialmente dubitavo sull'acquisto del bigleitto tramite Headout non essendo un sito ufficiale dei Beni Culturali, ma mi sono dovuto ricredere, poichè siamo riusciti ad accedere nell'rario indicato senza alcun tipo di problema. Soprattuto siamo rimasti entusiasti dell'audioguida, che ci ha guidato passo dopo passo nella visita al Colosseo. Veramente consigliato l'utilizzo di Headout.

Il Colosseo è assolutamente da vedere se vieni a Roma, le audioguide, sempre comprese in ogni biglietto su headout sono molto utili. Headout molto efficiente, manda messaggi per ricordarti dove devi andare nella giornata di prenotazione e quali sono le tappe per eseguire l'ingresso. Se andate ai fori imperiali nei mesi caldi è vivamente consigliato un ombrello parasole.

Wizyta w Koloseum, Forum Romanum i na Wzgórzu Palatyńskim przebiegła bardzo sprawnie i bez żadnych problemów z wejściem. Najbardziej podobało mi się to, że wszystko było dobrze zorganizowane i mogliśmy spokojnie zwiedzać w swoim tempie. To był naprawdę fajny dzień i świetna okazja, żeby zobaczyć te miejsca na żywo.

Alles einfach zu finde - klar ist man bei so einem Bauwerk aufgeregt :) Der Audioguide war zu anstrengend... es gibt zu viele Nummern überall. Anhören kann man ihn sich schon vorher. Besonders ist es im Colosseum gut. So schaut man genauer hin und wird nicht durch die Tourguids mit ihren Fähnchen irritiert.

We were so disappointed when the official 18€ Colosseum tickets sold out, but Headout saved our trip! Once inside, my mind was blown. The sheer size of the building is unimaginable for the era it was built—it 100% deserves to be a Wonder of the World. Honestly, it felt like walking straight into a Game of Thrones set. You see these massive, supernatural-looking buildings on TV and never believe they exist in real life. But this one actually does!

La ubicación del check point estaba muy bien explicada. Nos atendieron nada más llegar. La salida a los museos fue en hora y el guía nos dio ideas de cómo hacer la ruta y qué ver dentro del museo. Todo sencillo y bien organizado.

The view is absolute amazing, this ticket is far from enough to enjoy all the wonderful architects from the ancient roman empires. You can skip the line with the ticket which is very time saving. Highly recommend

Arrive at the Colosseum at your selected time and breeze past the queues at on-site sales counter with reserved entry. Have your ID ready for verification, and pass through a quick security check before stepping inside.

Colosseum

Walk into one of the most iconic landmarks of Ancient Rome, where gladiators once battled for glory.

Seating rows & Museum

Stand where spectators once cheered and visit the on-site museum on Level 2, showcasing artifacts from the Colosseum’s past.

Roman Forum & Palatine Hill

Enjoy the flexibility to visit these historic sites within 24 hours, wandering through the ruins of temples, palaces, and ancient marketplaces.

Optional upgrades

Choose an audio guide, an immersive multimedia video, or an English guidebook to deepen your understanding of Ancient Rome.

Upgrade your pass to access the Arena Floor, where fierce battles once took place, or visit the Mamertine Prison, where history’s most notorious figures were held.

What to bring

A valid photo ID is required for all participants and must match the name on the reservation.

Download your audio guide in advance on the Headout app and bring charged headphones if applicable.

What’s not allowed

Objects such as large bags, sharp items and loose electronics must be placed in the X-ray tray during security screening.

Additional information

If your access includes Mamertine Prison, your visit must begin there and you must arrive at least 1 hour before your Colosseum time slot to collect your entry ticket.

Timed access applies to the Colosseum only; Forum and Palatine Hill can be visited anytime within 24 hours but each entrance may be used only once.

Note that there are 2 entrances: one for the Colosseum, and another for the Roman Forum & Palatine Hill (combined). You may enter each entrance ONLY ONCE and not re-enter.

The security check can take 30 mins or more. To make the process quicker, please insert any object (including mobile phone) in the bag/backpack or in the tray to be included in the X-ray.

Each site has different opening hours, so check in advance. Plan around 2–3 hours for the Colosseum, 1–1.5 hours each for Palatine Hill and the Roman Forum, and 30–45 minutes for Mamertine Prison.
