The Vatican museum and Sistine Chapel tour through Headout was outstanding! Our tour guide was funny and had alot of historical knowledge and insight. The information was what I was expecting as he gave us the background on how the the church and Vatican came to be to this day. The craftsmanship and artisc beauty of the buildings, sculptures, rugs, and paintings can only be appreciated and awed in person.

The tour was great. The information provided by our guide was very informative and very in-depth. I must admit I lost the guide a few times and had to keep an eye out for two very tall people who were in our group as that was the only way I could find the group again. It was suggested to the guide that maybe he should carry something so we could find him and he said he felt that wasn't really necessary.

Onze gids wist heel veel te vertellen over het onstaan van het Vaticaan , de geschiedenis van de Sixtijnse Kapel en de St. Peter. Ze loodste ons behendig langs alle rijen . Soms praatte ze wat zacht maar later met the headphones ging dat beter . Het was heel druk , maar heel erg de moeite waard en indrukwekkend.

Easy to find guides at the meetup point. Lines moved quickly , as per stated by the guide Stefano. Stefano was very knowledgeable and shared a good amount with us without overwhelming the group. He is obviously passionate about his work and was very entertaining as well as educational.

We arrived on time at 7:45 but didn't leave the agency until 8:30. We were not given any instructions so we just waited until they called our color. It was a bit of a walk to the Vatican. There were too many people that I could barely breathe properly. Not the fault of the tour but just summertime. The guide was knowledgeable and made sure his group was with him.

I liked the tour a lot. It was crazy hot the day we went so I was glad we went early. The dome climb was cool but intense. They need benches when you get down! 😅 Our guide was very informative. We moved slow and went about an hour longer than anticipated but it was very crowded.

Will have to go back to the hotel for a nap afterwards. Our guide Marco was great you could definitely tell he knew his stuff. There was so much to take in 4 hours seem to fly by but is impossible to see everything you need a full day for this one for sure.
