This was our first booked activity after arriving in Rome in the morning and it was one of the best things we did on our 3 day trip. The colloseum is impressive in itself but our guide Gini really brought it to life. She was fun, friendly and knowledgeable. Especially showing us pictures of how the Roman forum would have looked and showing us some vantage points that we would not have otherwise seen and explaining what would have happened in each. I would definitely recommend this type of tour and a big thank you to Gini, who not only was a fab tour guide but took some great photos of us. Thank you 😊

Our guide was great. Unfortunately my mother suffered from the heat and she and I were only able to do the first 30 minutes of the tour. My kids stayed on and really enjoyed it though.

This was our first booked activity after arriving in Rome in the morning and it was one of the best things we did on our 3 day trip. We loved the tour and our guide but the confusion created by Carpe Diem before the tour we disliked. First we received information that our tour starting 9.30 was cancelled. We offered another different tour. We were offered a 15% payback. Which we still have not received. We accepted, our tour would start at 10.00. We again received an app from Carpe Diem that our tour would start at 10.30. Much to our surprise, on our way to the meeting point I received a call from from Carpe Diem. With the question , where are you? Your tour start at 10.00????

Nos gustó mucho porque la guía Sonia lo hizo muy ameno siendo un tour largo, empezamos a las 9,30h y terminamos a las 12,45h. Lo que no me gustó ni tampoco entendí es que seis días antes del tour nos enviaron un mensaje diciendo que debido a las limitaciones del coliseo la guía no entraría y nos dejaría en la puerta. Cuando entramos había grupos grandes con guía, con lo que no sé qué pasa en realidad, igual no quieren sacarle la entrada a la guía... no sez por lo demás muy bien

Mi aspettavo qualcosina più nel visitare l'interno del colosseo, e la guida è stata poco coinvolgente a tratti un po improvvisata. La valutazuone ovviamente è fatta in proporzione al costo dei biglietti pagati (2 adulti e 1 bambina), 253€ non sono affatto pochi!

What to expect

The Colosseum – the epic stage of ancient gladiatorial battles – is yours to explore. Follow your expert guide through the seating rows where thousands once gathered, and visit the museum on Level 2, showcasing artifacts from the Colosseum’s past.

Then, step onto the Arena Floor—an exclusive vantage point that most visitors don’t get to see. Stand where gladiators once fought, looking up at the towering ruins from the very heart of the amphitheater.

After your Colosseum experience, continue your journey through ancient Rome. Stroll through the ruins of the Roman Forum, once the bustling center of Roman life, and ascend Palatine Hill for panoramic views of the city.
