We went at night and it was really beautiful with the lights. The automated tour guide is also very interesting with lots of facts you can learn about Singapore, very worth it!!

Very easy to purchase online and it was a bit cheaper than on the spot. Had a great experience at night. Not too crowded, the city night lights were beautiful.

The cruise was absolutely brilliant. My mum and I did the cruise at night which was the best time to see all the sights and the wonderful lights. We timed the cruise perfectly as we got to see the light show by Marina Bay Sands. It was easy to book, I only booked a few hours before. Although it was busy we managed to get on our trip easily. We had great seats and the audio on the history of the sights was very useful. I highly recommended this excursion.

The cruise covered most of the sights and was well narrated. We bought the combo ticket , River Cruise and Gardens by the Bay. Unfortunately, the QR code we received was only good for the Gardens. But the River Cruise people straightened the matter out after an hour and we could join the cruise.

I had an amazing experience on the Marina Bay boat cruise. The ride was smooth and relaxing, and the views were absolutely stunning, especially at night when the city lights reflect beautifully on the water. Seeing iconic landmarks from this perspective made it feel special and memorable. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting.

Getting started

Head to Clarke Quay Jetty and present your ticket before boarding. There’s no fixed time slot, so you can arrive at your convenience within validity. Boats run every 15–30 minutes. A quick check-in is required before boarding.

What to expect

Singapore River Sightseeing Cruise: This 40-minute cruise takes you through Singapore’s historic river and into Marina Bay, offering a mix of old quays and modern skyline views.

Riverside landmarks: Glide past Clarke Quay, Boat Quay, and Marina Bay, with clear views of key city highlights along the waterfront.

Traditional bumboat ride: Ride in a heritage-style bumboat designed for sightseeing, with open views and a steady, comfortable pace.

Onboard commentary: Listen to pre-recorded English commentary that shares quick insights about the sights along the route.

Upgrades

Upgrade to include Gardens by the Bay with entry to Flower Dome and Jurassic World at Cloud Forest, or add a seafood dining experience with Singapore’s signature chilli crab at Clarke Quay.

What’s not allowed:

Outside food and beverages are not allowed.

Pets cannot tag along for this experience.

Smoking on board is strictly not allowed.

Re-entry after getting off the boat is not permitted.

Wheelchair and stroller access is not guaranteed on all boats.

Service animals are allowed onboard.

Dine-in available only from 5pm to 7pm.

You can use this ticket anytime within 3 months from the date of purchase.

Boarding is on a first-come, first-served basis, no fixed slot.

Marina Bay may be closed from 5:30pm to 9:00pm on select Saturdays and National Day.

In case of bad weather, departure may be delayed or postponed.

Singapore River Cruise: The route starts at Clarke Quay and continues through Boat Quay, Parliament House, Raffles Landing Site, the Asian Civilisations Museum, Fullerton Hotel, Merlion Park, Marina Bay Sands, ArtScience Museum, and the Esplanade, before looping back to Clarke Quay.
