They'll reach out to you by WhatsApp about five hours before to tell you where to go and what’s important. I’ve seen other tours do this a day or two in advance, so it might be less stressful if you’re told sooner. For me, nothing was too unexpected because I tried to plan ahead. On the plus side, they did send a photo of where to meet in the chat. One thing I didn’t love was not knowing to expect a WhatsApp message—I thought it might be spam at first since it had photos. The boat ride itself was intense, definitely felt the power of the sea and wind, so expect splashes and chilly gusts. After about an hour we found dolphins—there were a lot! Sometimes you spot them under water, sometimes they jump out. The boat stops so you can snap pics or record video. My only real downside: I booked for English but most of the explanations were in French, which felt a bit off to me. Maybe it’s different on other trips, but that’s how it went for us.

The communication about where to meet comes via WhatsApp, but it only showed up about five hours ahead of time—which threw me off since I’m used to getting those details a day or two earlier from other tours. The chat did include a photo of the meeting spot, so that helped, but at first I was wary since I wasn’t expecting a WhatsApp and there was a file to download. Once on the boat, the ride was wild—lots of wind and salty sprays, pretty much like a rollercoaster at times. After an hour, we finally got to see a bunch of dolphins: some swimming deep, others popping out, a few jumping. The boat would sit still for a bit, so taking pictures was easy. The only thing that bugged me was that even though I booked in English, most of the explanations were done in French. Maybe other days are different, but that’s what happened to me.

Before heading out, I got a WhatsApp message about five hours early with details and a photo of where to meet up, which was handy, though I wish they reached out sooner like some others do. At first, I was confused because I wasn't expecting a WhatsApp text and thought maybe it was a scam since there was a file attached. The ride itself was wild, almost like being on an a park ride, so be ready for sea spray and chilly wind. After about an hour, we finally came across a bunch of dolphins—sometimes you catch them just swimming below the surface, sometimes popping up, sometimes leaping. Best part is, when watching, the boat stops so it's easy to snap photos. Only downside for me was that I'd picked an English tour, but most of the info was given in French. Maybe it's different on other trips, just my own experience.
