Great atmosphere, friendly crew with a generous wait staff, talented musicians, delicious food options, and fair prices on everything -- in my American opinion. I ate like a king (more delicious goulash and perfect bread than I could finish) and had several beverages for the price of one upscale dish in the USA. Overall, I'm very happy with the cruise. Some tips for others: Arrive more than 30 minutes early, including walking time along the shore. The lines can be long and confusing, and you may have to switch lines or boats after you think you "made it." They have to verify your tickets in line and in the ship, and I was redirected twice. I made it to the right boat just two minutes before its scheduled departure! For photographers, note that the reflective glass made it hard to get good photos of Budapest from inside the ship, since interior lights reflected on the glass. I didn't try to go outside, but that might have been an option. Regardless, my best photos of the night were taken when walking down the shore after the tour.

Champagne arrival was a nice touch. Beautiful views. We went in April and Bose 7pm, however the first 20 minutes wasn't quite dark enough for the spectacular river illuminated sights. I would consider what time the sun sets when you are visiting. Enjoyed it very much x

(Spoiler: they actually do have tongues; they are just not easily visible from below!)

The view from the outside deck was stunning and some musicians came outside asking if we wanted any particular songs to be played. Just a note that meal tickets come separately from the drink option.

The cruise kicks off at 7pm; arrive a few minutes early to settle in comfortably.

For the best view of Buda Castle, head to the left side of the ship as you face forward.

As you pass under the Chain Bridge, don’t forget to wave at the locals. It’s a fun tradition!

To avoid seasickness, skip heavy meals before the cruise and keep your eyes on the horizon if you feel uneasy.
