Coupe file avec horaire respecté qui nous permet de ne pas attendre. Tous les billets étaient pris (en avril) pour le lendemain ainsi que les 3 jours suivants où on pouvait y aller et le site de Headout était le seul à nous proposer des créneaux. Nous étions septiques car cela nous étonnait que personne d'autre ne propose de disponibilités et le site officiel était complet mais on n'a pas eu à regretter et on repassera par Headout sans problème. Quand on rentre dans la cou du palais, après l'entrée, on doit se diriger vers une entrée où on doit mettre notre sac à dos (assez imposant) dans un casier gratuit sécurisé par un code que l'on choisi. On commence par la visite guidée de la cuisine puis on fait la visite libre du musée. Le tout nous a pris environ 3h avec la visite guidée de la cuisine, le musée et l'armurerie. Le guide vient nous chercher au point de rencontre que la personne de l'entrée nous indique et il a même fait l'effort de parler un peu français alors que la visite était prévue seulement en espagnol. L'ensemble du palais royal vaut le coup, chaque pièce est magnifique de part ses ornements,peintures et ameublements et l'armurerie est splendide car tout est mis en scène. Bref, cela vaut le détour!!!

We stayed in Madrid the week before Easter and simply couldn't get tickets for the Royal Palace. I came across Headout by chance, though I was a bit skeptical at first since they showed availability for the very next day. I bought the tickets and immediately received a confirmation email with the time and meeting point.At the meeting point, we were met by our guide—a very pleasant and interesting older lady who guided us a few blocks to the palace and then through it. There was no waiting in line; we bypassed the massive crowds and saw everything there is to see with expert guidance. The tour lasts an hour and a half, and I truly recommend it to everyone. We will definitely use Headout again on our next family trip.

I booked after seeing excellent reviews on trip advisor. This company did not disappoint The walking tour before Palace Tour was very interesting and Martini our guide was very knowledgeable pointing out historic areas and landmarks Skipping the line at the Royal Palace was such a bonus as the queues were ridiculously long Once inside Martini again guided us through at the perfect pace to absorb the information and enjoy the beauty of the interior Possibly the most beautiful palace I have ever been in So opulent and so much interesting detail pointed out which would have been missed without a guide Well worth the money Be aware you do not meet outside palace but at a shop approximately 10 mins away

We loved the palace but if it wasn't for two very helpful and understanding staff members at the Palace ticket office then we would not have been allowed in. The email from Headout with the tickets is not enough. I was unable to download the Headout app as my phone is not the newest and the palace would not accept just an email, they needed the digital tickets ad Headout is a third party. Having read other reviews this clearly is not the first time this has happened; this is very poor from Headout and they need to ensure digital tickets are shared other than having to download the app particularly if customers are unable to get the app!!! Very poor customer service as this is not a new problem!

Everything about this experience was smooth from start to finish. The skip-the-line access saved a huge amount of time, especially with the long queues outside the Royal Palace. Entry was quick and well-organized, and the staff were helpful and clear with directions. The palace itself is absolutely stunning — the rooms, details, and history are on another level. What really stood out was how stress-free the whole process felt, allowing us to fully enjoy the visit instead of worrying about logistics. Definitely worth it if you want to make the most of your time in Madrid.

Great tour! We wanted to buy tickets for the self guided tour for the next day but they were not available online. Then we found this tour and it was absolutely worth the price. The guide Elisa was excellent, spoke fluent English, very slowly so that everyone could follow. We entered through the group entrance which skips the long queue. Elisa told us many interesting stories about the royal family. I would say without a guide, visit to royal palace would be underrated. I highly recommend this tour!

The guided tour at the palace was very cool and I learned many new things, like the fact that the original kitchen is actually located 30 minutes away. It was interesting to hear that they now set up temporary kitchens in neighboring rooms for current events to keep things running smoothly. My personal highlights were definitely the cathedral and the entrance area, especially because of the stunning ceiling paintings.

The Royal Palace of Madrid is absolutely stunning and a must-visit in Madrid. The architecture and interiors are breathtaking, with beautifully decorated rooms that showcase the richness of Spanish history. Everything is very well maintained and organized, easy to move around. Großartige Sehenswürdigkeit, viel Prunk. Leider klappte es mit den Audios nicht. Bei der Buchung über Headout hätten wir die Infos über das Handy hören sollen über selbstmitgebrachte Kopfhörer. Wir waren zu dritt und kauften uns vor Ort die Audios erneut. Der Palast ist wirklich absolut sehenswert und ein Muss in Madrid

What to bring

Luggage, large bags, and suitcases are not permitted. There is no left luggage service available.

The Royal Palace is wheelchair accessible, with facilities available for visitors with mobility needs.

Please plan approximately 45 minutes to visit the Salons and 30 minutes for the Royal Armory.

Free admission is available Monday to Thursday, from 4pm to 6pm in winter and from 5pm to 7pm in summer, for EU citizens, residents, holders of EU work permits, and citizens of Ibero-American countries (proof required).

Enter at the Almudena esplanade gate, on the corner of Calle de Bailén.

Children aged 0–6 enter for free but require a booked ticket.

Digital audio guide is available in Deutsch, English, French, Italian, and Spanish. To keep things smooth, we recommend downloading your voucher and accessing the audio guide in advance--mobile signal inside the palace can be patchy, and no one wants tech troubles in a royal hallway.
