Being able to skip the line definitely saved us time but we didn't realize that was the time the kitchen tour started not the time you had to enter the Palace so the staff had to send someone to take us to the kitchen tour that had already started. The tour was wonderful.

Today we visited the Royal Palace of Madrid and it was a truly unique experience. The palace is absolutely beautiful, full of stunning architecture, history, and elegant details in every room. Everything was very well maintained and organized. The staff was also very kind, welcoming, and helpful, which made our visit even more enjoyable. A must-visit place in Madrid!

Arrivati 15 minuti prima dell'appuntamento ci siamo messi in fila e abbiamo passato i controlli abbastanza velocemente. All'ingresso abbiamo fatto subito la visita alla cucina reale con la guida,in spagnolo. È stato bravo ed esaustivo. Poi abbiamo visitato il palazzo in autonomia e anche l'armeria reale. Tutto perfetto.

Tour groups spoiled the experience for us as a couple. Delayed getting in, then constantly dominating spaces for their own purposes. Grumpy 'guides' inside. But a spectacular Palace nevertheless; I guess it's just the luck of the draw.

Begin your tour with a stroll through the Plaza de la Ameria. Besides catching incredible views of the surrounding countryside, you can also appreciate the Baroque architecture of the palace from the courtyard. Information points are located in various rooms inside the palace to help visitors better understand the exhibits. If you are an art-lover, you will find a plethora of famous works by artists such as Francisco de Goya and Caravaggio. Art exhibitions are also often held inside the palace.

Learn more about all the major attractions in the palace, from a Spanish-speaking guide, such as the Hall of Columns, where Spain signed the agreement to enter the European Union. The Royal Armoury and the Grand Staircase are also fascinating sights. The 2000-square meter Royal Kitchen houses a wealth of preparation rooms and cooking equipment that are over 200 years old.
