Tickets bought online and easy retrieval to present at the gate. Ensure you scroll to the ticket not just the receipt. The ticket says "This is your e-ticket" Wasn't too busy so got in 20 minutes before my timeslot. Go to the lineup and see if you can get in early. Don't wait till your timeslot if it doesn't seem to busy. Far more to see than just the intiation well. (But it was very cool, and amazing) A quite long line up way around the corner, but it moved very quickly. Almost didn't stop moving. 10 -15 minutes only to get in. Lots of elderly and kids in the well so it moves slowly. Plenty of time to take many photos. There were a few other hidden caves and steps that most people seemed to pass by. And many small staircases and pathways up and down the forest. Get off the main trails!! A very beautiful park!

Foi um passeio muito incrível. Chegamos no horário que estava agendado, fizemos a entrada sem nenhum problema, a fila estava muito pequena e bem organizado ao chegarmos. Fizemos a validação do ingresso na própria entrada e fomos conhecer os espaços. A Quinta da Regaleira é um lugar muito bonito, maior e mais incível do que eu imaginava antes de visitá-lo. Muito bem organizado, preservado com lugares muito bonitos e bom de visitar. Gostei muito de entrar na gruta, conhecer o casarão, toda a propriedade é muito encantadora. Valeu muito o passeio e tiramos ótimas fotos para guardar de lembrança do local.

I totally enjoyed navigating in your Headout app abd looking forward to use it in the future. The only thing in booking the tickets in the App there was no mention of the road leading to the entrance where it was closed and the uphill walk was quite challenging. Especially for my wife that had knee replacement surgery. Then after our visit we had to walk to the city center to call an Uber which was also very challenging. In Sintra everybody knew about this road closure except your format.

Das Ticket hat hervorragend funktioniert und wir kamen sogar vor unserem Zeitslot rwein. Das Wetter war kühl und regnerisch also nicht ideal, aber die Quinta da Regaleira ist wirklich schön und sehenswert. Eine tolle Parkanlage, die Initiationsquelle, ein Wasserfall und Grotte... da kann der so hoch gelobte Palácio Nacional da Pena bei weitem nicht mithalten. Meine Empfehlung: Die Quinta in vollen Zügen genießen und den Palácio Nacional da Pena ignorieren.

The scenery was beautiful! The initiation well was the best view, such a great experience. Being able to walk down the entire well was so unique. It was a little wet and slippery but there is a handle to guide you down. It was not too crowed and you are able to move around freely without bumping into people. I highly suggest visiting. We only spent an hour and half here but there is so much to see and visit you could easily spend 1/2 a day here.

Got there 15 minutes early and were allowed to enter, which was perfect because we accidently bought for the wrong time. Got to the initiation well and although greeted by a line, the only line we experienced, it went by quickly and we were down the stairwell, mesmerized by the design and construction (and some wet feet). Definitely worth the visit. Please book your tickets online as people were being turned away due to it being sold out.

Quinta da Regaleira is often described as "magical or fairytale-like", and that is true if you only look at the surface. But, after getting a tour guide to tell us the story, you find out the true meaning of the palace. There is alot of mysticism, alchemy, symbolism and the man who built it was part of the secret society of masons (illuminati). Almost demonic in nature. However, when yo7u look at the architeecture, it is rich, dramatic and layered with meaning; a mixture of Gothic, Renaissance, and Egyptian influences. We went on a Sunday and was there for 10am opening. Best advice is to go early so you dont get in the long lines that can happen later in the day.

La verdad es que es muy bonito de ver, como reservamos entradas pudimos entrar muy rápido sin la cola para conseguirlas. Fui con unas amigas y todas coincidimos que lo más impresionante fueron los jardines. La verdad que consideramos que es una parada importante si vas a Sintra. Lo único, que todas coincidimos, es que estaría muy bien poder visitar más salas del palacio, ya que no habían muchas abiertas.

Prima di tutto l'orario d'ingresso è stato rispettato senza fare file !!!! È stato bello poter passeggiare nel parco e visitare la villa senza che i posti fossero eccessivamente sovraffollati !!!! Anche il bar super organizzati e servizio velocissimo !!!!

It's recommended to wear comfortable shoes as this experience involves a fair amount of walking.

What's not allowed

Keep in mind that drones, suitcases, trolleys, large backpacks, and luggage are not allowed in this experience.

Due to venue restrictions, pets cannot tag along for this experience.

Shutterbugs, take note: Tripods and flash photography are a no-go inside the venue.

Accessibility

The palace and the gardens are accessible for wheelchairs, with ramps and elevators. However, due to their historic nature, some areas may be challenging to access.

Your guide dogs are welcome at the venue.

If you can, avoid driving into Sintra; the streets are narrow, parking is limited, and traffic can be challenging, especially in peak season.

Should you drive, park in Sintra town center and enjoy the 30-minute scenic walk to Quinta da Regaleira. Public transport is your best bet to get to Quinta stress-free.

Children aged 6-17 years and seniors over 65 years can purchase discounted tickets at Quinta da Regaleira, but please note that tickets sell out fast.
