    Took the plunge with two friends and it was SUCH a rush! Never tried rafting before and was a bit worried about falling out but our guide, Komang, was super chilled and made us laugh the whole way. The river was pretty full (guess it’d rained the day before), so the rapids were extra bumpy. Whole trip took about 2.5 hours, with a quick pitstop at a waterfall for photos. Bring your own water bottle btw, the drinks at the halfway stop are kinda overpriced. We all left knackered but buzzing. Def recommend but wear shoes with grippy soles, those steps are NO joke!

    Went with my boyfriend and honestly, we almost chickened out at the stairs (they’re sooooo steep). Glad we didn’t. Our guide, Budi, was a LEGEND and kept us feeling safe even though I was screaming half the time. Lunch after was meh (nothing special, just rice and some veggies) but the rafting itself is what we came for. Would do again but maybe bring my own snacks next time.

    Did this solo and got matched up with a lovely family from Korea. The views were EPIC! I kept getting distracted by the jungle and nearly missed a few paddles (oops). Our guide kept us entertained with jokes and river stories. It rained halfway but honestly just made it more fun. Bring a drybag for your stuff!

    Honestly, the rafting was fun but felt a bit rushed—think they want to get as many trips in as possible. Our guide was nice but seemed tired. The stairs up and down are killer, so if you have dodgy knees maybe look elsewhere. Kids loved the splash fights though. Food was so-so.

    Took my parents (both in their 70s!) and they handled it like champs. The guides really looked after them, making sure they felt safe and didn’t have to paddle too hard. Jungle scenery is lush and there’s a section where you can jump in for a swim. You WILL get wet, so bring a change of clothes. Highlight of our Bali trip!
