Esperienza davvero memorabile. Il biglietto combo per Pompei ed Ercolano permette di vivere in una sola giornata due siti archeologici unici, ma con atmosfere diverse. Ercolano mi ha colpito moltissimo per lo stato di conservazione delle case, degli affreschi, dei mosaici e degli ambienti interni: camminare tra quelle stanze dà davvero la sensazione di entrare nella vita quotidiana dell’antica città. La vista con il Vesuvio sullo sfondo rende tutto ancora più suggestivo. Pompei è più grande e scenografica, mentre Ercolano è più raccolta, intensa e sorprendente nei dettagli. Consiglio di iniziare presto, portare acqua e prendersi il tempo necessario per osservare bene ogni angolo. Un’esperienza culturale bellissima, emozionante e assolutamente consigliata.

La experiencia fue muy buena, muy facil encontrar el lugar de encuentro, donde las personas que atendian hablaban perfectamente en italiano, español, ingles y seguramente es mas idiomas. Ofrecian mas opciones de guias, libros, mapas, muy buen servicio. La entrada a Pompeya super facil, sin filas ni esperas, la audio guia de la app es muy buena y simple para usarla. Muchas gracias

Both Sites are excellent sights. Well worth the visit and the ease of using this site was excellent. Downside local transport transfers are very expensive especially if the trains are not running. Herculeum very limited transport options unless you want to pay top dollar.

Am Abend davor schnell gebucht und alle wichtigen Infos bekommen. Am nächsten Tag dann sofort reingekommen ohne anstehen und keinerlei Problemen. Sehr schnell & unkompliziert.

Pompei and Herculaneum very nice sites to see. A lot to see. No queues and got in easily though I had bought our tickets in advance to ensure entry and avoid any queues.

The tour was very good. Gave us a glimpse of everyday Roman colony city life. What should be added: tell about those sites worth visiting after the tour thatwere skipped. Also about the cafeteria. Gad to ask about tgese. Also in tge beginning when going to Lupernalia, perhaps tell about other buildings we pass, not just about red light district related stuff. Felt like that was the only building of interest. 😃

I thought it was a ticket, I took the train, couldn't enter Pompeii at the main entrance. Had to find someone who spoke English, they explained I had to go on a 20 minute walk to the city center (there's no bus) to change my voucher for a ticket at a random tiny travel agenc. I finally got there and immediately some woman showed me a map of Pompeii and how to use it, then when I tried to get the map she said I had to buy some stupid book from her or I couldn't have the map. So of course I had to buy the book. Also the tickets were way more online than if I had just bought them in person. I still got into Pompeii eventually but it took so long that my girlfriend and I missed Herculaneum entirely and we'd already bought the online tickets for those and couldn't get a refund.

I liked getting tickets in advance but it was utterly not nesassary as the ticket lines were short at the venue. It gave us a peace of mind for quite an elevated price. With the audio guide we paid $64 for two tickets that really cost $40.00 The guide was useless. The points were not many and the descriptions were super-short. We ended up going back and purchasing audio guides from the venue. More languages and much more interesting and extensive recordings So it is my first time either Headout and might be the last as well...

Pompeii is of course an incredible experience. I definitely think it is worth while using the free audioguide (we didn't) and so I don't think we got the full experience. The only issue we had was finding the office to convert our QR code to tickets as the one closest to the entrance was closed, but we found it without too much difficulty and went on to have a very interesting visit!

Pompeii isn’t a place you just visit—it’s one you piece together. This experience lets you do it your way, with just the right level of support.

Frozen in time by Mount Vesuvius’ eruption in 79 AD, Pompeii is less a ruin and more a snapshot of Roman life mid-moment.

Ancient city streets: Walk through remarkably preserved roads, homes, and marketplaces that reveal everyday Roman life.

Historic landmarks: Visit key sites like the Forum, amphitheater, and bathhouses that once formed the heart of the city.

Pompeii Plus sites: Access suburban villas such as the Villa of the Mysteries and explore the Antiquarium museum, with shuttle service connecting locations.

Audio guide: Learn at your own pace with multilingual commentary that adds context to the ruins (as per option selected).

Guided tour (optional): Upgrade for an expert-led experience that uncovers deeper historical insights and hidden details.

What to bring

Valid photo ID for entry; full names are mandatory for Pompeii bookings.

Earphones for the audio guide.

What’s not allowed

Large dogs over 10kg/40cm (guide dogs with certification are welcome).

Revealing clothing or shirtless attire inside the Archaeological Park.

South-side entrances are wheelchair accessible; main gate is not.
