The tip that head out gave us to get there at 9 o'clock and get in line for the 930 opening was a great suggestion. By 930. The line was very long and we were some of the first people into the monastery. It wasn't incredible and then we were able to get in the early line to get into the church. The tip was good.

Wszystko odbyło się bez problemu, bilety do klasztoru zostały wyprzedane, już o godz. 14. Wiec gdybym wcześniej nie kupiła biletów on linę, nie weszłabym do klasztoru. Oczekiwanie na wejście w drugiej kolejce, dlatego warto być wcześniej około 30 min. Obskugasparawnie i bez problemu

Il monastero è di notevole interesse, a parte la lunga fila. La criticità inammissibile è che per visitare la chiesa, all'uscita, occorre fare una nuova lunga lunga fila. Ci abbiamo rinunciato.

Het klooster is prachtig. Minpuntje van de audiotour was dat bij maken van een foto , de audiotour werd beëindigd en deze dus diverse keren opnieuw gestart moest worden.

What's not allowed

Strict dress code: Please note that off-shoulder tops, dresses, and knee-high shorts are not recommended.

Keep in mind that food & beverages and large bags or backpacks are not allowed on this experience.

Visitors are not allowed to take photographs in some parts of the monastery.

The lower level has wheelchair access, though some sections are cobblestoned.

Entry to the church is free for residents of Portugal on Sundays and public holidays.

The Jerónimos Monastery remains closed on Monday, January 1, Easter Sunday, May 1, and December 25.

The Monastery is closed between 9:30am and 1pm on October 24th and December 5th.
