Arrive at the Lava Show venue in Vík and present your ticket at the entrance. After a brief introduction, you’ll be seated just meters from the lava flow area.

What to expect

This immersive indoor experience recreates a volcanic eruption using real lava. The show demonstrates how volcanoes have shaped the geography of Iceland.

What to bring

For obvious reasons, touching the lava is strictly prohibited.

Outside food and drinks aren’t permitted; refreshments are available at the on-site café/bar.
