Witness a grand tribute to the legendary Egyptian-French singer Dalida this September at the Dubai Opera! Iolanda Cristina Gigliotti, also known as Dalida, took the world by storm when she used her newly gained fame as the winner of Miss Egypt in 1954 to launch a singing career that lasted for 31 years, selling over 170 million albums and singles worldwide. With a wide range of musical styles, from pop and easy listening to disco and rock, and a stellar career marked with great critical and popular acclaim, Dalida has undeniably left her mark on World Music. The large number of Dalida tributes and concerts that continue to take place, even 30 years after her death, are a clear testimony to her popularity and staying power.

Getting There
By Bus: Get off at Dubai Mall Metro Station using buses D01, D03A, F13. Then take the walkway to Dubai Opera along Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard.
By Metro: Get off at Burj Khalifa station on the red line. Take the walkway from Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard to Dubai Opera. Please note that walking time is approximately 25 minutes.
