Getting started

Check in between 7:15 and 7:45am for your Day 1 reef departure (the tour operates from Cairns; tours don't need to be on consecutive days). On Day 2, your Daintree tour begins with return transfers from your Cairns, Northern Beaches or Port Douglas accommodation, with pickup times confirmed at booking. If you're staying Cairns Southside, you'll need to make your own way to the operator's head office at 287 Draper Street, Parramatta Park.

What to expect

Day 1: Outer Reef snorkel cruise

Cruise aboard a superyacht to two unique outer Great Barrier Reef locations, with 5 hours of reef time.

Day 2: Daintree Rainforest and Cape Tribulation tour

Travel by air-conditioned 4WD with a local eco-accredited driver-guide for a full day through the Daintree Rainforest and Cape Tribulation.

• A 1-hour Daintree River cruise starts the day, with a light morning tea and the chance to spot crocodiles and birdlife.

• Walk an elevated boardwalk through the Daintree Rainforest, learning about the flora and fauna along the way.

• Cross the Daintree River by cable ferry, then cool off with a freshwater swim in the heart of the rainforest.
