We had a most enjoyable day out with our driver/guide Mauro . He was most informative with the history of Portugal. The visit to the bakery where the little tarts are made was so interesting. We had a wonderful lunch somewhere near Sintra at a very reasonable price. The portions were very generous, and the food really tastie. The icing on the cake so to speak was our visit to Sintra and the palace. It was a very warm afternoon, with beautiful blue skies, which set the building off . Amazing views all over Lisbon and the coast. It was a long day, but full of fun and beautiful views. Would recommend this trip as it was really good value. Mauro dropped us very near to our hotel which was a big help. Many thanks.

It was beautiful to see Sintra and surrounding areas. Especially around Lisbon Belem etc If I were to go back I would visit some more sights which I didnt get too but at least I could see with the guide. It was a lovely small group too which made it even nicer. I loved the custard tarts everyone of them delicious. The guide was chatty, funny and nice taste in music for the tour.
