It was fun to go in a group of just 8, plus driver, in a people carrier. The driver was very informative, and guided us round the castle so we enjoyed the best possible views. He then took us to a port shop in the village, where the owner gave us an very interesting talk. After that we had time out, which allowed us to time for lunch as a nearby cafe, before driving back to Lisbon, again with lots of information about Portuguese history etc.

Quando cheguei no Castelo de São Jorge, tinha uma fila enorme. Como eu queria entrar rápido, fiz meu cadastro no site e comprei o ingresso online. Em poucos minutos recebi o ingresso e entrei sem pegar fila. Achei muito bom o serviço e foi muito rápido. Recomendo comprar os ingressos antecipados pelo site.

Es una excelente opción para sacar entrada al Castillo San Jorge . No tuvimos que hacer cola a pesar de que cuando llegamos la cola para entrar era bastante larga. Con esta entrada pasas x la izquierda y mostras el código y listo.Pasas de corrido

We visited the Castle on a Sunday arriving at 10am. Note Ibers do not take you up to the ticket area. There is a walk uphill of about four minutes. Having a ticket benefits because when we left at noon the line was a long one down the street to buy. Tickets. Behind the walls are interesting and great views. Take time to visit the Museum inside and we were fascinated by the peacocks on the grounds. We were inside the walls for about two hours but if pressed for time , 90 Minutes will suffice. After the visit we found lunch downhill in the area that have the views and lots of tourists as well as tuck tuk tours. The weather was great which made for a wonderful day in Lisbon

Nous avons pu facilement commander les billets mais il a fallu attendre 45mn pour les recevoir.le bon point est qu'une fois achetés, ils sont valables longtemps donc on a pu programmer notre visite pour un autre jour.

Rua Augusta Arch

The Rua Augusta Arch, which can be seen on the busy Praça do Comércio square, is a symbolic structure in Portugal's capital city. The earthquake that leveled the city in 1755 served as motivation for its growth in the 19th century, representing the city's will to rise again from the ashes of the disaster it endured. A monumental gateway built in the neoclassical style, it has a statue of the goddess of victory, winged figures, and reliefs depicting scenes from the city's reconstruction. Pass under the arch and take in the sights of Praça do Comércio and the city below. This spot provides a perfect backdrop to photograph the city and river.

St. George’s Castle

The impacts of the Visigoths and the Moors can still be seen today on Lisbon’s highest hill. St. George's Castle was named after England's patron saint more than two centuries after it was built, following the Anglo-Portuguese Treaty of 1373. Interactive touch screens inside explain the background of the region around the castle hill. With its thick walls and terraces covered by pine trees, this castle has become the city's most distinctive sight.

There are a total of ten towers, and you can climb them all! Moorish antiquities like coins, pottery, and tiles were discovered during excavations in the region around the castle and are currently on display there. Peacocks, which can be found in the gardens surrounding the towers, never fail to amaze visitors with their brilliant plumage.
