The Hanhwa 63 City, a.k.a the 63 Building is a definite must-visit when in Seoul. Since the time it opened its gates in July 1985, it remains, to date, the second tallest gold-clad structure in the world. As mesmerizing as it looks from the outside, the interior too is very special. It not only serves as an observation deck but also doubles as a multi-venue leisure complex complete with an IMAX, an art gallery, a wax museum, and much more.
Owing to the height at which it stands, 63 Building offers some of the finest views of the city. Go up to the 60th floor and be captivated by the breathtaking views of Seoul and the Han River. Choose to upgrade your ticket to also include admission to the Aqua Planet 63. The aquarium hosts performances daily by penguins, otters, eagle rays, and many more. What’s more, is that the Korean drama Legend of the Blue Sea was shot here!
