We absolutely loved our DMZ tour, and a huge part of that was thanks to our guide, Jackie the Storyteller! He was amazing from start to finish — super fun, incredibly kind, and full of positive energy. He made the whole experience so engaging and memorable. The tour itself was already fascinating, but Jackie really brought everything to life with the way he told the stories and explained the history. He has such a special way of making complex and emotional topics feel accessible, interesting, and deeply impactful, while still keeping the atmosphere enjoyable and relaxed. You can really tell he loves what he does, and that passion made all the difference. We learned so much and had such a great time throughout the day. He was not only informative and professional, but also warm, funny, and genuinely lovely to be around. This was honestly one of the highlights of our trip, and we couldn’t have asked for a better guide. We highly, highly recommend this tour — and if you get Jackie the Storyteller, you are very lucky! The time was really good for each attraction so I could see everything well. But during the interview with the north Korean defector the guide just answer some of the questions by himself when at least I, was curious to know about the north Korean opinion.
