I recently visited Qasr Al Watan—the majestic "Palace of the Nation" in Abu Dhabi—and it was an unforgettable journey through architecture, history, and cultural pride. From the moment you step off the shuttle from the Visitor Centre, the palace's façade—gleaming with white granite and limestone—sets the tone for something extraordinary. Inside, the soaring Great Hall takes your breath away. A dome nearly 37 m across floats above, surrounded by mirrored cubes and mosaic marble. Blue, white, and yellow symbolize the Gulf waters, purity, and desert sands—a restrained palette conveying enormous elegance Every detail—from hand-crafted calligraphy to embroidered patterns—is a testament to centuries-old Arabian craftsmanship. The reflective mirrored corners create unique perspectives that feel immersive and meditativeRafał

Everything went smoothly and our visit to the Qasr al Watan Palace was a great experience. The light show in the evening made the visit even more special and unforgettable. An impressive building.Mohamed

At first it was very overwhelming, the sheer size and scale of the building (once inside). After a while you get used to it. Magnificent architecture, literally a masterpiece. What I found the most interesting was the collection of historical literary artefacts. Our little two year old had such fun running around and making buddies with the security staff.Alica
