They picked us up at 9:30, but we didn’t get rolling until 10:30 even though the bus ride was really short. By the time we checked in it was nearly 10:45, then you have to grab your gear. I’d say do the toboginate first since everyone wants that one—I didn’t like it at all, felt sketchy to me, but my family enjoyed it. The caves, zip lines, food, nice workers, and how clean the place was—all of that was awesome. Definitely pick up the photo package, such good value.

Mostly took my 15-year-old son for a day out since he’s all about adventure stuff—he had a blast with every activity. I’m not much of a swimmer but really liked the hammock splash, plus the underground path with a slide at the end (I’m 120kg and it worked fine for me). Food was warm and tasty, and you can go back as much as you want, plus there’s a spot for drinks before the restaurant opens. Our shuttle picked us up last at Barcelo Maya and we were the first ones dropped off, only a quick 20 minutes away. Bought tickets on their official webpage (they had a deal), cost me £300 for two including two photo packages. You can add a $59 video for the zip lines but we skipped that, brought our own water shoes and phone cases instead.

Went the other day and had a total blast—tons of action! The place is laid out in these amazing woods and caves, super well-kept and spotless, with loads of lockers and fancy changing rooms right when you get there. All the rides and zip lines felt super safe, didn’t worry once. We got the lunch package and all the food was really fresh and looked awesome. For what you pay, it’s honestly a great deal compared to other stuff we did—easily our fave day out. Only thing is, the signs can be confusing so we had to ask staff for directions a bunch, but everyone was helpful. Would absolutely suggest anyone thinking about it goes for it. Thanks to Xcaret and the crew!

Getting started

Present your ticket and physical passport at the entrance, or before boarding if you selected hotel pickup from Cancun. Store your belongings in the shared locker, collect the required safety gear, and explore the park at your own pace.

What to expect

Zip-lines and jungle routes

Ride the park’s zip-line circuits above the jungle, then drive an amphibious vehicle through trails, tunnels, and flooded caves.

Underground adventures

Walk and wade through the Underground Expedition, paddle along cavern waterways, and swim through the Stalactite River surrounded by rock formations.

Water activities

Try Hammock Splash, ride Toboganxote, and follow the spelunking route through the park’s cave landscapes.

Food and facilities

Refuel throughout the day with unlimited snacks and non-alcoholic drinks, plus a buffet lunch. Changing rooms, rest areas, Wi-Fi, and shops are also available.

Wrapping up

Guests who select hotel pickup from Cancun can board the return transfer after the visit. Otherwise, depart the park independently.
