Arrive at Coopérative Village Solaire near Essaouira in time for your scheduled 1-hour embroidery drawing workshop. After a brief check-in with the cooperative team, you join the standard group workshop session. You then move to your workspace where your fabric, threads, and drawing materials are set out, ready for you to begin.

What to expect

This experience takes place at Coopérative Village Solaire, where you combine drawing and embroidery on pouches or fabric in a hands-on creative session. Over the course of the 1-hour embroidery drawing workshop, you focus on designing and stitching a personal piece that you will finish during the class.

Features

• The standard group workshop format gives you a shared creative environment as you learn to create drawings on pouches or fabric using simple embroidery techniques guided by the cooperative. In this focused hour, you work step by step from sketch to stitched design so you see your idea appear directly on the fabric.
• All fabric, threads, and drawing materials are provided at your station, so you do not need to bring anything to participate. The materials stay on site, but the finished piece to take home is entirely yours to keep as a reminder of your time at Village Solaire.
• During the session, water or tea is available so you can pause briefly between stitches. A photo souvenir is included, capturing you and your work in progress at Coopérative Village Solaire without needing to arrange your own documentation.
• Alongside the workshop, a tasting is included as part of the experience. You also join a visit of the Village Solaire cooperative, which gives you time to see more of the space and understand the setting where your embroidery drawing session takes place.
