CoupleVerified bookingLast week4/5The tour was well-organized and ran smoothly despite the size of the group. Thanks to the audio guides with earpieces, the guide was easy to hear. Our guide spoke clearly and informatively, leading the group capably. You descend stairs to 64 m and later 110 m underground. Through the mine passages you go from room to room, each with its own theme. In total 2.5 kilometers, so quite active, but there is a lift to go back up. There was a lot of impressive things to see and everything was well-maintained: statues carved out of salt from different eras always tell a piece of history; elsewhere, original wooden machinery structures and tools form a backdrop for life-sized museum mannequins depicting miners' lives. An immense underground chapel, richly decorated with artistic salt rock carvings, is a highlight. Beautiful forms of salt crystallization can be admired in numerous places, as well as a few underground lakes. Light and sound effects are used here and there for an audiovisual experience.NNicole M
GroupVerified booking3 weeks ago5/5We took the salt mine tour, and from the moment I made the booking, everything was great. They contacted us directly to let us know that the booking had been accepted and they treated us very well. On the day of the tour, the pickup location and our driver for the day (Konrad) were great. The tour was very interesting and our guide was a 10/10. I highly recommend the whole experience.GGuillermo T
GroupVerified booking3 weeks ago5/5The Wieliczka Salt Mine is impressive. I was blown away by the fact that the tourist area you can visit is only 1% of the entire mine, meaning it is absolutely huge. It is very beautiful, and I find the human capacity to build such incredible things mind-blowing. I loved the tour guide—she was great, looked after the group at all times, and was very friendly. Outstanding.LLungu G
CoupleVerified booking3 weeks ago5/5It was an extraordinary experience. We were fascinated by the salt mine tunnels, by what can exist at such a great depth, by the excellent organization of the tour, and also by the guide who gave us valuable information about these magnificent places. I am very glad that I managed to see these wonderful places.JJulia R
GroupVerified booking4 days ago4/5Overall, it's a good tour. You walk a lot through the mines and they explain the history of the mine along the way. I'd say I'm only giving it 4 stars because the guide was hard to understand due to their accent (the tour was in English). But everything else was good overall; in my opinion, the temple is the biggest highlight of the tour.
