What to expect

Balboa Park Carousel

The Balboa Park Carousel is one of your key anchors inside the city exploration game route. It serves as both a visual landmark and a story point as you move through Balboa Park.

Features

• While you are near the Balboa Park Carousel, the self-guided city exploration game in the Questo app prompts you with location-based clues and tasks that keep you focused on details around the carousel area. A tour guide is not included, so you rely entirely on the app for directions and narrative.
• This part of the route is supported by 24/7 customer support, so if the Balboa Park Carousel stop or any clue feels unclear, you can reach out through the app at any time during your flexible playtime.

Spanish Village Art Center / Art Centre

Spanish Village Art Center, also referenced as Spanish Village Art Centre, appears as another major stop in your Balboa Park path. It is one of several creative spaces that the story uses to shift the tone and style of the game.

Features

• At Spanish Village Art Center, the city exploration game in the Questo app weaves in a uniquely crafted story written by top-notch writers, turning the courtyards and studios into puzzle backdrops and narrative checkpoints.
• You experience this segment as part of a self-guided city exploration game, playing it like an outdoor escape game blended with a treasure hunt, using only your phone and the Questo app.

Inez Grant Parker Memorial Rose Garden

The Inez Grant Parker Memorial Rose Garden, also referred to as the Inez Grant Parker Rose Garden, is another highlight woven into the route. It is associated in the story with the largest cantilever bronze animal statue in the world.

Features

• As you reach the Inez Grant Parker Memorial Rose Garden, the game highlights the connection to the largest cantilever bronze animal statue, prompting you to look for specific viewpoints and details that tie into your mission.
• This stop underlines that entry tickets to attractions are not needed to complete the tour because the self-guided city exploration game stays outdoors and guides you from clue to clue in public areas.
• Flexible playtime after booking without rescheduling lets you decide when to visit the Inez Grant Parker Memorial Rose Garden, so you can pause the game between locations and resume later in the Questo phone app.

Other Balboa Park locations

Beyond the named stops, the route includes other lesser-known places within Balboa Park that support the overall game flow. These serve as connectors between the main locations and deepen the story.

Features

• In these lesser-known places, the city exploration game available in your phone's Questo app continues the mix of a tour, outdoor escape game, and treasure hunt, asking you to solve tasks based on your surroundings.
• Throughout all locations, your booking includes 24/7 customer support and a fully self-guided city exploration game experience, with no tour guide and no need for attraction entry tickets to enjoy the content.

Wrapping up

You finish the final task inside Balboa Park within the Questo app and can then continue exploring on your own or replay parts of the self-guided city exploration game later during your flexible playtime after booking without rescheduling.
