Great visit, very interesting, enriching and complementary to the visit to the Anne Frank Museum. Our guide Gauthier was particularly attentive and interactive with our comments and questions. It's just a bit of a shame we couldn't get into some of the buildings (synagogue, museum). Nevertheless, the visit went very well, thank you very much.

50 years ago while in high school it was a requirement to read The Diary of Anne Frank. This story moved me , being a girl around the age of Anne at the time. As tragic as this story was, it lead me to my passion for history. My 10 year old grandson surprised me by borrowing the book 📕 from the local library. He wanted me to reacquaint myself again with the story before I left on my tour from Australia. After travelling to Auschwitz, Birkenau, Schindler's factory & courtroom 600 in Nuremberg , this was the final leg of my journey back to the atrocities of the time. As sad as it was, it was something that was important for me to experience. . LEST WE FORGET
