About View Boston
If a trip to Boston is on the cards for you, head over to the top three floors of Prudential Center and soak in the city’s sights from the 52nd floor observation deck. It offers you wonderful views of the city’s landmarks like the Boston Public Garden which was the first public botanical garden in America and the glorious Massachusetts State House.
The building atop which View Boston is located, the Prudential Center, is the 2nd-tallest building in Boston with a height of 749 feet.
Today, View Boston stands where the Skywalk Observatory once stood. After 54 years atop the tower, the observatory shut down in 2020.
View Boston is a great vantage point to watch the finish of the Boston Marathon held on the third Monday of April every year. You can get a clear view of the winner crossing the finish line from here.
The observation deck helps you plan your visit beyond its tower by letting you create your own personalized itinerary at the View Print station. Just scan your ticket and print out an itinerary for the rest of your stay in Boston.
