Our guide was very informative, kept the mood light .Alot of walking. We also did the garden tour. We were disappointed because the fountains were not on.

We sipped champagne with Tchin, our Chinese-born guide, who knows every nook and cranny of the château. She gave us the tour in perfectly mastered French: a friendly group made up of two Québécois, one Franco-American and four Frenchmen! It was very crowded, but thanks to our guide we were treated like VIPs and took all the shortcuts!

The French guide Qing was very clear and pleasant, and the tour was very well organized even though several groups were scheduled at the same time.

It was a quiet day at Versailles so Nils was able to walk us around at a good pace. The 9.10am start helped as well as crowds had not really started. He was very knowledgeable and funny. The gardens were amazing and we enjoyed exploring them ourselves.

We were fascinated! The guide was very clear and despite the number of visitors we were able to follow her very well and learn about the history of the Palace of Versailles.

Bask in the magnificence of the Palace

The exquisite Palace of Versailles is one of the most extraordinary achievements in 17th-century European art. Just a few minutes' walk from the Palace, you will meet your expert guide and receive your skip-the-line vouchers. Once inside, enjoy a guided tour of the most famous places within the Palace. Illustrating more than five centuries of French history, the Palace not only houses remarkable works of art -- it stands as a work of art itself.

Glittering Hall of Mirrors and other opulent features

Upgrade to all-access tickets to explore the ornate King and Queen's State Apartments. Learn about the French monarchy and explore the themed salons and their elaborate ceiling paintings. Next, make your way to the glittering Hall of Mirrors. Designed to protect the ornate walls and ceilings from smoke, the hall’s 357 mirrors were strategically placed to reflect the light of candles. With just a few flames, the reflection from so many mirrors was enough to light up the whole hall!
