I wish there had been more signs for the Petit Trianon. I couldn't find the grotto or the Queen's Village. What's more, it was stiflingly hot. And I was amazed to find that there were no working fountains at Versailles. And when I bought my ticket for the gardens, no one warned me that the fountains wouldn't be working.

Everything worked well with the tickets... but it was necessary to download the app! We were missing information on where to find what...and the information on the nearest toilet and its location was not ideal. Long distances to the destination. But an interesting facility.

The Trianon and the gardens were truly beautiful. We paid extra for audioguides as we had not downloaded the app. We did have to pay for the main Versailles gardens to access and walk through from the main entrance, however it would have been easier to walk around the estate and see a little more of the 'town' area of Versailles, which we did on our way back.

No problem with the tour, but the directions weren't clear enough on the tickets. We thought access to the Trianon was via the Palace of Versailles, so we had to hurry to get to the Trianon at the other end of the estate in time.
