Eiffel Tower Summit Guided Tour with Palace of Versailles Full Access Tickets

Our visit to the Palace of Versailles was simply breathtaking—especially for my two children, ages 9 and 13. The history of the place, the magnificent interiors, and the incomparable splendor captivated us all. From the very first glance at the façade, you could sense the enormous scale and the significance that Versailles has held in European history over the centuries. The story of Louis XIV and France’s rise to absolute monarchy is fascinating, and the tour through the state rooms brought those events to life. The child-friendly presentation was very well done: we felt like part of a grand narrative that interwove politics, art, and everyday life. The chronicles, portraits, and historical artifacts brought history to life without getting bogged down in dry details. What particularly impressed us was the decor: The paintings, stucco work, gilded details, and the craftsmanship evident everywhere make Versailles a total work of art. The opulent rooms—from the Hall of Mirrors to the Marble Hall—exude a timeless elegance that still leaves a lasting impression today. For the children, it was fascinating to see how architecture and craftsmanship harmonize to create such a striking atmosphere. The splendor that characterizes Versailles was evident in every corner: chandeliers, stucco work, colorful marble inlays, and the imposing staircases of the past. At the same time, there were subtle rooms and details that radiated tranquility and invited reflection. The blend of overwhelming splendor and carefully designed transitions allowed us to experience the setting as a living stage of a bygone high culture, without feeling overwhelmed. The gardens surrounding the palace were almost magical: wide avenues, symmetrical parterres, fountains, and hidden vistas invited us to take a stroll and offered fantastic photo opportunities. The children were thrilled by the water features and the vast green spaces where they could roam in wonder. Overall, the visit was a wonderful journey through history, art, and nature, which we as a family thoroughly enjoyed. Standing at the top of the Eiffel Tower is like looking at the world from a completely different perspective. As the elevator carried me higher and higher, my heart raced with excitement, and Paris slowly transformed into an intricate mosaic of streets, bridges, and landmarks. When I reached the observation deck, I forgot about everything for a moment. The gentle breeze, the endless panorama of the city, and the glimmer of the Seine filled me with true wonder. It wasn’t just a beautiful view—it was a moment that made me realize just how extraordinary the world can be. The Eiffel Tower, a symbol of courage, dreams, and human ingenuity, left me with a memory full of emotion. As I made my way down, I knew that this experience would remain in my heart forever, and that the memory of Paris would bring a smile to my face for many years to come.

The lines are very long at all tourist attractions. If you buy your ticket through the app, you’re guaranteed entry at your chosen time. There is a separate line for each time slot. I recommend arriving at least 15 minutes before the time selected on your ticket so you have time to find the entrance and get in line. The gardens are very large; you can walk, but you also have the option of taking a shuttle for 9 euros per person or renting a golf cart (the price varies depending on the rental duration). It’s a place well worth seeing.

Your guide not very good at all. Very limited information about the site. Having been on a large number of guided tours recently this guide fell very short of expectations and I would not recommend him. When we got to the second level the summit was closed it was about 1030pm when asked he said it was "too hot" he disappeared told us to get a refund but 20 minutes later it was open again so we went my up ourselves.

We loved this visit to Palace of Versailles, it was very easy to book and get the tickets, the entrance was smooth, for any reason we were guided to a smaller queue. The palace is enormous and beautiful, plenty of history, art and luxury things for every taste. We enjoyed till last minute the amazing gardens, it's a paradise, we highly recommend this activity and the Headout company.

I learned a little about the history of the Eiffel Tower, including the different designs that were considered for its construction and the colors it has had in the past. I got off to a bit of a rocky start with the group, though, since I hadn’t realized that the meeting place wasn’t at the Eiffel Tower itself, but a short jog away—but we made it. It was nice that we had plenty of time to ourselves and weren’t rushed off at any point.
