On my 50th birthday, my husband and I had the pleasure of enjoying breakfast at Spere on the Berlin TV Tower. It was a great way to start the day! The menu featured down-to-earth dishes that were of good quality. Nothing was overly fancy—just typical Berlin.

Everything went great with the tickets, but the food wasn't to our taste. They couldn't just give our child a waffle with powdered sugar. This isn't about creativity; rather, they should accommodate guests' requests and prepare dishes the way someone from East Germany is used to.

What an impressive experience. Enjoying a delicious breakfast while watching all of Berlin go by. Fresh rolls, delicious, high-quality fillings, and very friendly service. I ordered another nice cup of coffee, since I had plenty of time. Looking back on a wonderful experience. Highly recommended.
