We visited Tropical Islands for the first time in 2008. At that time, we were very impressed with the entire complex. We took advantage of all the attractions :). We went again in 2020. It was also nice because we already knew what to expect. This year, we decided to spend another pleasant day at Tropical Islands. Unfortunately, this will probably be our last visit for the foreseeable future. You can see that time has taken its toll and the best days of this facility are behind it. The elements of the slide are poorly fitted and you can feel the joints on your back. Walking around, you can see gaps in the concrete. The technical elements are covered in rust and clearly need to be painted. Despite everything, it's worth going and seeing for yourself how much the remaining advantages of this place outweigh the disadvantages.

I was expecting a water park, but Tropical Islands is more of a mix of pools, zoo, amusement park, botanical garden, museum, bars, and restaurants. There are 8(?) slides, an arcade, an outdoor area, shows, and lots to discover. It's definitely great for kids. It can get cold when you're wet, but a bathrobe or T-shirt helps. If you don't like constant noise in the hall, you should perhaps prepare yourself accordingly. Unfortunately, the German motto applies here too: reserve a lounger with a towel and then leave, so that there's nowhere to sit by the pool when you come back later.

I was there on January 24, 2026. It was really fun with all the slides, but it was really cold there. The water was pleasant at 31-32°C, but it was really cold. My partner and I got sick afterwards; they really should have made more of an effort with the temperature inside. The cold was really annoying the whole time, and not even the shower was warm. It's fun, but the cold ruins everything.

Tropical Island—not the cheapest leisure activity, but definitely worth a visit for a short break! I can't understand some of the negative reviews on the internet, including those about the food. The buffet restaurant offers vegan dishes, which are clearly labeled. There really is something for everyone.

I don't know if this revyis for Headout or Tropical island, I really enjoyed buy tickets from headout especially The return possibility I have, If I want give you a feedback for Tropical island unfortunately I have to say it was colder than I expected so I didn't find it comfortable

Visiting Tropical Islands Berlin as a family was pure joy from the moment we walked in. Our four-year-old’s eyes lit up at the palm trees, sandy “beach,” and warm lagoon, and honestly, ours did too. We spent hours splashing in the South Sea, drifting along the lazy river, and discovering little corners that felt like our own tropical hideaways. The kids’ areas were a huge hit—safe, playful, and full of surprises—while we parents loved that we could relax and still keep an eye on the fun. Even meals felt easy, with plenty of family-friendly options. By the end of the day, we were sun-soaked, happy, and already planning our next trip. It’s the rare place that delights every age.
