Not only is this one of the world's steepest funicular trains, but it's also an impressive feat of engineering that's been in operation since 1923. As you make your ascent, you'll even pass through the world's steepest tunnel, which measures 79 meters long. Once you've reached the top, there are plenty of attractions to explore, including the historic Bellevue hotel, the Penang Hill mosque, and the Love Locks viewpoint. The lush tropical rainforest is also a great opportunity to spot local flora and fauna.
