Milford Sound Tours

Great experience! Incredibly fantastic views. Possibility to get wet by the waterfalls. Small boat was a perfect choice. Totally not overcrouded. Good captain with a funny guiding style. And friendly staff, especially Myriam - cheers girl 🙂

We particularly liked the fact that it was a great experience despite the rain. It's even particularly mystical when it rains. We got free coffee and saw dolphins and robes.

The Milford Sound boat excursion was awesome and I'd highly recommend it. However I would recommend bypassing Headout and booking directly with Pure Milford. Headout gave us the incorrect information saying that they were collecting us from our accommodation, which they did not do. We were left waiting for a ride that never arrived. This could have ended badly if we hadn't been able to walk to the bus stop in town. Headout you need to give people the right information!

Very well organized. The bus was comfy and the glass ceiling was a bonus for those high mountain views. It was a bit tight though, and not much room for a bag/backpack. (If you’re on the larger side, I'd suggest chatting with them before booking to ensure you'll be comfy). Our driver, Brian, was a lot of fun and informative. We made several stops for photos along the way. The boat trip was wonderful, and the captain/guide was friendly and informative. It was a beautiful sunny day, but really cold out on the deck, so dress warmly! We truly enjoyed the whole experience and definitely recommend it. We were on the Sovereign.
