The Milford Sound Cruise was incredibly beautiful. Despite the bad weather, it was a very impressive experience. You could see an enormous number of waterfalls and it was well explained which mountain or waterfall you could see. The option to go on deck was also excellent despite the rain. I really enjoyed it and can only recommend it to anyone! My highlight was that they also got really close to the big waterfalls so that you could really see the spray from the bubbling water and really appreciate the size of the waterfall.

The ticketing staff at Milord Sound Cruise were incredibly accommodating. We were running late and missed our original booking, but they kindly allowed us to join the next cruise. The captain and assistant were both very friendly, and they even let my daughter have the experience of steering the boat. The tour guide was also really funny, which made the whole trip even more enjoyable.

The trip was great. Great experience in the falls, the view, and the wildlife interactions. We had some issues with the bartender who tried to shame us when we tried to take 4 hot drinks with 2 adults waited in line due to my 8-year-old got freezing cold after the mist experience and my wife had to look after her. I don't believe this is a kind of acceptable behaviour in Australia where we came from but not sure about New Zealand
