I did not queue to enter, I liked the layout of the works and the quality, after three hours of conscientious interpretation I ended the visit feeling that I only saw a small part of them...I left very moved and excited by what the works transmit.

Getting in and having special access was fundamental to enjoying the tour and avoiding the long queues at the door. Avoiding the long queues was the highlight of choosing to buy the tickets through the APP, the ease of purchase, the quick turnaround and the communications too. Just one observation: the tour is long and it's practically impossible to do it all in one day. Another important point of this ticket is the possibility of visiting any day within a year and on any day of the week and at any time. However, this is good for those who can be in Madrid for more days and organize their schedule. That's fantastic!

  • The Reina Sofia Museum is home to the greatest Spanish artists from the 20th century which attracts more than 3.5 million visitors annually. The collections consist of 1,653 paintings and 707 sculptures along with a horde of paperwork, graphic art, and photographs.

However, the museum is most famous for the Guernica. This prolific piece by Pablo Picasso symbolizes Spain’s transition to democracy and is a universally recognized icon for the principles of anti-war and anti-autocracy. With lush gardens and vaulted hallways, walking through this artsy abode is a delight in itself and that statement doesn’t even account for the artworks inside.

Browse through over 20 Dali pieces, a full room dedicated to Joan Miro’s paintings, and a room on Women at the Forefront featuring works by the iconic Angeles Santos and Delhy Tejero. This modern art museum is a wonderland of art! With a simple upgrade, you can tune into the official audio guide to fill your stroll of Reina Sofia with colorful insights into art and the artist's life. A must if you want to develop a deep appreciation and understanding of art.
