Today we visited the Vatican Museums, a truly evocative experience. Unfortunately, it was raining and we had to queue for about half an hour before entering. The security staff were very discreet and professional, and it's easy to visit the museum rooms on your own, but those who prefer can opt for a guided tour. The museum is very large and rich, well worth the ticket price, and a must-see if you're passing through Rome.

The entrance was extremely confusing, with those directing the lines pointing us in one direction and then another, with no communication between themselves. We had to raise our voices in the face of the employees' rudeness so that they would listen to us and put us in the correct line in order to get in at the right time.

What a place. An incredible treasure trove. However, it takes time and patience to see the entire museum. The Sistine Chapel was outstanding. Not having to queue for hours was worth every penny. Even though it wasn't peak tourist season, there were still a lot of people.
