Up at 3:30am and still grinning! The sunrise on the way to Luxor was something I won’t forget (bring a hoodie, mornings are chilly). Our guide, Hamdi, was suuuuper funny and knew every corner. The temples felt almost magical in the early light—honestly, there’s so much to see I kinda lost track. Loved the group vibe, everyone swapping stories over falafel at lunch. Traffic was a bit wild but our driver handled it like a pro (and there’s AC, lifesaver). You get a solid amount of time at each site, but I wish we could’ve lingered longer at Karnak. Still, can’t complain, it was EPIC! Highly recommend grabbing extra water—they give you some but it goes fast.

So, Luxor in August is HOTTT. Like, melt-your-face hot. The tour itself is well organized, and our guide, Ahmed, kept everyone engaged with cool facts (and jokes). Bus ride is loooong but worth it for the temples. Only downside, felt kinda rushed at Valley of the Kings. Would've liked a bit more time there. Still, learned a lot and the lunch spot was delish. If you’re into history, it’s a must.

Did this day trip solo and was nervous but felt safe the whole time. The group was super friendly, ended up chatting with a family from Germany most of the day. Hassan, our guide, was a LEGEND—so much energy and answered everyone’s random questions. The best part for me was seeing the hieroglyphs up close (couldn’t take pics inside some tombs tho, heads up). Would do it again in a heartbeat.

Went with my boyfriend and his parents. The driver picked us up right on time at 4 am (ugh) but at least we could nap a bit on the ride. Karnak Temple is MASSIVE, like seriously, my neck hurt from all the looking up LOL. Our guide, Fatima, kept things lively even when we were all melting. Lunch was simple but tasty. Only thing—bring toilet paper, some stops don’t have it.

Went with friends, booked the private minivan. Worth every penny—got to ask all our weird questions and take our time with photos. The columns at Karnak blew my mind. Our guide even pointed out where some old movies were filmed! There was a stop at a papyrus shop, which was a bit salesy but still interesting. Bring snacks.
