The guides quickly took us through security and up to the dome. An audio guide was included. Please note: this is not a guided tour, the tickets are not valid directly at the entrance to St. Peter's Basilica, the meeting point is at Cafe San Michele in a side street near the cathedral. All good, I'm happy to recommend it. June 2025

It's really worth seeing the inside of Castel Sant'Angelo. The rooms are very magnificent, which you wouldn't believe when you stand in front of the castle. The audio guide is ok and helps you to experience even more. The view from the castle is really good on all sides. Admission was possible without queuing. :-)

After reading the negative reviews, I was a little bit expectant. We received by email the day before the tickets and the audio guide without having to go through the agency, we followed the instructions and everything was great, we did not queue at all. The only negative thing is that we paid a bit more than on the official website.

She was very professional, and her pronunciation was so clear that it was easy to understand her even in a crowded place. She was very kind and explained everything in an engaging way without being boring at all.

What I liked most about the castle is that the tour was very clear and easy. To improve, the audio guide could have some historical facts in several languages to reinforce the audio guide.
