To fully understand and see the Palazzo's studiolo, this tour is a must: you get lots of interesting historical information, and you have time to look around and understand how the studiolo works. The tour was very lively, friendly and understandable for experienced non-English speakers.

Visitors must leave all umbrellas, backpacks, and large bags in the cloakroom.

Accessibility

This experience is not accessible by wheelchair/stroller, and is not recommended for guests with mobility issues.

Guests with disabilities can enter the museum for free. Wheelchairs & strollers may be borrowed at the cloakroom free of charge.

Visitors with mobility issues can access the building via the side entrance in Via dei Gondi. The lift, situated on the ground floor in the Cortile della Dogana, is for visitors with reduced mobility only.

This palace is also the seat of the city council. Unfortunately, this means that on certain special occasions when institutional ceremonies are scheduled, the museum may be totally or partially closed to the public.
