The light show in the Votivkirche is a truly impressive experience. The projections bring out the best in the already beautiful architecture and, together with the music, create a special, almost meditative atmosphere. It is less of an action-packed show and more something to marvel at and let sink in. Important to know: the seats make a difference—in the middle or further back, you can see the effects much better and as a whole than at the very front. Overall, it's a great show, and I'm glad I saw it. Nevertheless, I wouldn't necessarily say it's an absolute must-see when visiting Vienna. If you have time, go for it.

It was absolutely beautiful😍 It felt like I was in a fairy tale; the sense of magic and grandeur stirred up such a whirlwind of emotions that I stepped outside and burst into tears of joy. An incredible feeling. The sound quality was excellent, which made the show even more realistic.I would describe this moment as feeling like I’d stepped into a cartoon about magic. Wow, wow, wow. If I ever go back to Vienna, I’ll definitely go again. And the church itself is a work of art—it’s hard to believe that people actually built it!

Everything is beautifully put together. Nothing is overdone; it’s all created with great taste. An incredible display that blends music, light, and perfection. If I get the chance to visit Vienna again, I will definitely attend the show once more.

The light show is truly impressive. An explosion of light and color fills the entire church interior and runs precisely along the individual ornaments. For my taste, the music could have been a little softer to emphasize the creation of life not as a dramatic event, but as a great miracle.

Amazing experience - genious combination of music and light! Ticket was providing an opportunity to skip the line, places were ok. The suggestion is to take a thermos with tea and pillows to sit on if you're visiting in winter - it freezing my cold inside But it's worth it even without the above comforting attributes ☺️

We (parents and our 13-year-old daughter) arrived at the Votivkirche 15 minutes before the event began. Everyone—and I mean absolutely everyone—who was working outside and inside the church was very, very kind, friendly, and professional. I highly recommend this event (including the ticket process) to everyone!
