Purchasing tickets is easy and the assistance for entry into the hotel area is also good. Too bad there was a general strike in France that day and the ticket was useless because you get in for free.... M. s.Michel Abbey is fascinating, the location and the tidal phenomenon very striking. Too bad that, like other monuments in France (for example, the Palace of the Popes in Avignon), the abbey is completely bare inside.

I personally found the place and the abbey very worth seeing. I was there at the beginning of October, around 10.00 am. At that time, the number of visitors was still okay. I can't imagine what it's like in the high season. I recommend buying a ticket for the abbey online at least one day in advance. It saves queuing at the entrance. The ticket costs 13 euros.

Good organization from the parking lot to the monastery with the shuttles. Fortunately, the crowds weren't too big, so we weren't pushed through the alleyways. There was a mass in the monastery church. It was interesting to witness this. One minus point is the high parking fees. Maybe think about a day ticket instead of paying by the hour.

The large parking lot with shuttle bus drove us there and back quickly. Parking lot, if you are there all day, 24€ incl. shuttle. Mont Saint-Michel is very impressive. An unforgettable experience with a great view, lots of shopping and restaurants. The many stairs provide enough exercise 😅.

Our visit went very well. Only small problem, arriving with our tickets we went through the "already have a ticket" line and we didn't get a tour brochure... which can be found at the cash desk...

Booking in advance saved us a lot of waiting time on site. The monastery itself is very impressive and the view of the surrounding area from the monastery is sensational
