It was a wonderful experience visiting this amazing palace and Learn about history and some amazing antiques. Also, amazing photo area with opening gates towards Bosphorus. Although, the day we visited it was not busy at all so ticket lines were short, it's still recommend to have Skip the line ticket so you save that extra time and use it to travel between different attractions.

The palace is breathtaking, we were amazed at the great ceremonial hall, we thought that we arrived to Versailles. The garden is very pretty as well, beautiful view to the Bosporus

The cruise was great and the waiter we had was very friendly. We took the tour with another group of friends. The reservation clearly stated that it was the same boat, but they were waiting for us on a different one. No one warned us. When we got there, they annoyed us by separating us. What's more, we felt cheated, because it was supposed to be the same service, and the comparison we made later was that ours was of much poorer quality but the same price. This could have been solved with a prior email or better organization, and it left a very bad taste in my mouth. I understand that the reception at the original boat couldn't find my reservation, but they didn't help by clearly telling us the name of where we were actually supposed to go. A written note would have saved us from going back and forth between boats asking questions. For my part, I do not recommend the experience with this company when purchasing online. The organization was very poor.

Entry to the palace was easy and smooth, as the tickets had been sent to me the day before. The audioguide was also very helpful and explained a lot of things in my own language, which is pretty uncommon (greek).

Everything was perfect! The palace is huge and grand. Everything is very well maintained, all the rooms of the palace look excellent. A must visit if you arrive in Istanbul.

All guests must go through a security screening before entering. In peak season (June to August), the line may take up to 30 minutes.

Visit on a weekday morning, ideally near the 9am opening, for a quieter experience.

The main areas (Selamlık, Harem, and gardens) typically take 1 to 2 hours to explore. If you want to explore additional exhibits or take a break, consider setting aside extra time.

Take a break at the on-site café overlooking the Bosphorus, or stop by the gift shop for keepsakes.

Step out onto the balcony at the rear of Muayede Hall and take in panoramic views of the Bosphorus and Kabataş.

The best months to sail are April to early June and September to early November, when the weather is pleasant and the crowds are lighter.

Afternoon cruises, especially between 3pm and 6pm, tend to be busier in the summer months. Try to board between 10am and 1pm for a calmer experience.
