The visit was pleasant. A little too crowded, though, and difficult to move around the popular sites. The audio guide is very well done. A few language errors created by the ia robot. I know what I'm talking about because I'm an audio professional. The steps in the guide are well thought out, although it's not easy to walk around and follow the chronological order of the audio guide. Despite our best efforts to understand, we didn't visit in the same order. A few more photos and snapshots might help to suggest the right route. Is it possible to download the guide? That would be nice as we paid for it. Thank you

The acropolis museum was a highlight from my 10 day trip to Greece. The story highlighted the history of the Parthenon, attending to the mythology of Athena and Poseidon's battle for the role of protector of the city. It also highlights interesting archeological findings, history on why statues were destroyed, and stories about other Gods and Goddesses. Below the main museum was an excavation site that was interesting. I also wandered to an exhibit regarding Iraqi dates that was touching. There was artwork in this area made out of date packaging. There was an area to sign a book, which I did happily, to express a call for peace. 10/10!

The visit was absolutely amazing. If you're in the area you can't skip this. So impressive to see the incredible structures built so long ago. The immense hight and details made in a time of where we think technology was limited. The view from the top also incredible. If you're a spiritual person I hope you'll feel what I felt when I was there. Actually shed some tears from amazement. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because it was so so crowded. I feel they should limit more the number of guests that are allowed at the same time. Even if that means you'd have to book upfront to secure a spot.
    • Enter the Acropolis and witness Parthenon's ruins, a former temple dedicated to the goddess Athena.

    • Explore the Greek citadel, especially the Porch of the Maidens with columns carved as regal ladies that glow when the sun shines on them.

    • Avoid the lines at the Acropolis Museum which houses artifacts like the Head of Alexander The Great, the bronze statue of Goddess Athena and more.

    • Enjoy access to the museum's excavation site, revealing the remains of an ancient Athenian neighborhood dating back to 3000 B.C.

    • Fun fact: The temple symbol on UNESCO's logo represents the Parthenon, highlighting its global significance and historical importance.

The visit with downloadable audioguide on smartphones is excellent and allows you to locate and learn about each monument precisely. The timetabled access also prevents too large a flow of people. The site is simply fantastic

Easy to access online or through QR code. I do think it should be clearer up front the audio tour is through the app not on a device you collect at the museum. As an international traveler downloading apps can be difficult. Overall easy process and lovely museum.
