The live guide, Richard, who we had on green bus was fabulous. We did the three on one day as it was raining so what better way to get your bearings in Edinburgh, on the first day. The recorded guides were great too. The bus drivers were all super friendly and helpful. We loved the charging ports on the buses and there were plenty of options for all weather or downstairs inside, upstairs under cover and upstairs open top bus. The routes are identified well in time before each stop so you can decide whether to get off and exooore or not. Very well done and professional!

The three route ticket was the way to go so you can explore more than just the City. Each tour brought a new perspective to the life and history of Edinburgh. Ticketing experience was difficult. We were supposed to print out the ticket and bring it, which we did, but the gentleman who issued tickets said we needed it on our phone. We had no service. that was a problem as we followed the directions on the internet. Thankfully, the gentleman did help us and used his service to help us find an electronic ticket.

I loved that we can listen to the history of the city and go out whenever we want. I like the options of different routes too it gives more flexibility and also the routes are just the perfect length. Not too short not too long. I always use hop on hop off while visiting new cities I always find it's the best way to do it.
